    Gluten Free Baking: Use Psyllium Fiber Powder as a 2:1 substitute for xanthan gum in gluten free cookies, muffins and quick breads. For instance, if your recipe calls for 1 tsp xanthan gum, try 2 tsp Psyllium Fiber Powder instead.
     
    Egg Replacer: For a vegan egg replacer in baked goods, whisk together 1/2 tsp Psyllium Fiber Powder and 1/4 cup water for each egg needed.  let sit until thick, about 3 minutes, then follow recipe as directed.  Baking time may need to be extended by 5-10 minutes and browning will be reduced.


    Drinks

    For a quick and easy fiber boost, stir 1 tsp Psyllium Fiber Powder into 8 oz cold water or juice and drink immediately .

    To make a delicious smoothie, blend 1 tsp Psyllium Fiber Powder, 1 cup fruit, 1 1/2 cups milk or water and few ice cubes.  Drink immediately.
